FRAGRANCES
Fragrance has been part of the House of Maggy Rouff since its origins.
Alongside couture, it extends the silhouette into the invisible and expresses the same idea of style.
In The Philosophy of Elegance, Maggy Rouff describes perfume as an intimate signature,
to be revealed with restraint, almost like a secret, meant to accompany a gesture rather than impose itself.
As early as the 1930s, the House developed a true line of fragrances — Étincelle, Excentrique,
Fleur Folle, followed by Tais-toi mon cœur, Secret and Euphorie — along with eaux de toilette, powders and lotions.
These compositions favor noble and contrasting materials, blending iris, rose, leather, chypre and amber notes,
in a pursuit of originality and character true to the spirit of Maggy Rouff,
where garment, gesture and trail become one.
The House of Maggy Rouff entrusted its new creations to Sébastien Cresp,
a perfumer trained in Grasse and son of master perfumer Olivier Cresp, a dual heritage,
both familial and geographical, that makes him the natural interpreter of a demanding legacy.
His signature, known for its controlled contrasts and refined construction, has been expressed
through collaborations with major international houses before meeting the world of Maggy Rouff.
From this encounter emerge Extase and Énigme: two distinctive fragrances, uncompromising in character,
where the House’s Parisian standards find their most contemporary and accomplished expression.
